Campagnano Di Segni Leah

Leah Di Segni (Campagnano), trained in classical studies and archaeology at the University of Bologna, lives in Israel since 1970. Senior researcher and associate professor at the Institute of Archaeology of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, teaching Greek
epigraphy, historical geography and early monasticism in the Holy Land until retirement (2016). Among her publications, annotated translations of Lives of monks from Greek into Italian, English and Hebrew; corpora and corpuscula of Greek inscriptions; Greek inscriptions from ongoing excavations and studies on ancient and late antique chronological systems. Ongoing project: The Onomasticon of Eretz–Israel in Greek and Roman Sources (Volumes I-III published in 2015, 2017, 2022; volume IV-VI in preparation)., Jerusalem” 1997.
